Benjamin Arhen (Benji) is a dynamic speaker and passionate advocate for creating opportunities and empowering underprivileged youth to reach their fullest potential. With a background as a former university student-athlete, coach, and mentor, Benji brings a wealth of experience in sports, leadership, and mentorship to continuously help others achieve greatness and step outside their comfort zones.

During his journey, Benji pursued academic excellence, earning a Master of Science degree at Queen's University in Canada, all while actively coaching and mentoring young athletes. His experience with facing adversity as a racialized individual and expanding his identity outside of societal norms has allowed him to connect with youth and enable them to expand themselves outside of societal expectations.

Benji is a fervent mental health advocate who understands the critical role mental well-being plays in personal growth and success. As a youth mentor and facilitator, he has inspired countless young minds to overcome challenges, set ambitious goals, and achieve empower themselves to achieve their goals

Benji currently serves as a researcher at the Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) LaunchPad- an organization that aims to use sport to help youth access countless opportunities while actualizing their fullest potential. In this role, he utilizes his athletic and educational background to continue making a profound impact on the lives of youth through the transformative power of sports. His unique blend of experiences, academic achievements, and unwavering dedication to youth empowerment make him a compelling speaker and advocate for positive change.
