Georgia Meacham

Deaf Awareness Advocate, Model and Actress

About

Georgia Meacham built a successful career in front of the camera before embracing her Deaf identity as a strength. After hiding her hearing loss for years, she realised that being Deaf was not a limitation but something to be proud of and represent.

Her breakthrough advocacy moment came when she was interviewed on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, sharing how she navigated both the entertainment industry and everyday life as a Deaf woman. Georgia has also starred alongside Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman 1984 and appeared in Hobbs & Shaw and delivers talks on her non-traditional career path and inspiring the next generation to embrace their creative side.

In 2025, Georgia took her message to the UK Parliament, speaking at the Houses of Parliament to lobby for greater accessibility and representation. She now serves as an ambassador for the National Children’s Deaf Society and the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID), using her platform of over 105,000 social-media followers to raise awareness, shift perceptions, and empower young people facing adversity or disability.
